Capri Time
Since the middle of the XVII century, the sounding of the bell in the clock tower of the famous “piazzetta” has kept time for the people of Capri.
Originally, the shadow cast by a white sun dial revealed the hours of the day. Later a brightly-coloured majolica dial with mechanical hands replaced the original structure, creating a unique clock.
Subsequently the heir of an ancient goldsmith dynasty had the idea of transforming Capri’s clock into a watch.
His name is Pippo Perez and the name of his watch is “Capri Time”.
